1989 Steering Column issue

Hi all, Been a long time member, but it's just recently that I've been able to get my truck back running. Seems like all the maintenance it would have gotten over the past 5 years or so are showing up.

 

The most recent one is that the steering wheel would wobble. Re-did the 4 bolts, but that didn't help. So I took apart the steering column to find out that the steering column jacket broke, as you can somewhat see in the below picture.

 

 

So, I started taking apart the rest of the column, but I've come to a point where I can't get it apart any more by obvious methods, and I don't want to break any more than required. So, how would the rest of this come apart, is it press fit?

 

 

Or, alternatively, if parts 71 and 73 on the linked post below can be purchased, which I think it all of the above, is there a place I just haven't found yet that sells it?

I don't think the parts that you need are available any more. I would say the best bet is to get a used one and if it needs it paint it.

Thank you. That's what I suspected would happen. Not my ideal way, but with a 26 year old truck, I'll have to make do, right?
