2014 Chevy Silverado no trailer lights!

I made the purchase for this trip today. 2014 Chevy Silverado Z71 integrated trailer package. I hook up trailer and no lights. Service brakes and service lights warning comes on. HELP!!

He may want to verify that his trailers 7 pin connector is wired correctly before going to dealer. Otherwise he may just get the "issue not found" reply from the tech because the problem is not on the truck.

With factory brake controller, does the truck get the 40 amp fuse installed as part of that?

there is a code ... It's under warranty .... 'nough said Doug

 

The fuse 6 yrs ago was installed when an aftermarket brake controller was installed,

 

You'll have to ask a current tech on that question but the message means there is a code,

I was thinking that the code may be due to an issue with trailer connector or actual brakes on the trailer. The code did not appear until he connected the trailer up to it.
