Touch-back Bird Dog style

I thought you bird dog guys would get a kick out of this. I was mearns hunting in southern AZ yesterday and my friend took these shots.

 

My pointer locates a covey and locks up. I come in to get the check cord and reinforce steady to wing and shot as she has gotten a bit rusty over the past year without training sessions and hunting. My friend's mixed breed had backed a couple times that day and this time decided on a different backing position. I thought it was a crack up.
