Rear Park Assist

TJay- Thank you for taking the time to check that out. I also tried backing into a few spots today, with no response from the DIC. I have an oil change scheduled with the dealer next week and will have them check it out while there. Thanks for all your help on the forum.

 

BTW- small world, my dad has lived in Norman for the past 45 years. Big OU fan.

I have lived in this area (Moore/Norman) for 35 years, the wife and I have lived in Norman now for the last 5 years and love it. If things all work out we should be hopefully building the next house later on this year.

I played with it today, the picture did show up while I was backing into the spot. I guess I never noticed it because I paying attention to the rear of the truck while I was backing into the spot.

I checked today and confirm the picture shows in the DIC as well on my LTZ. Also, yellow markers show up on the 8" screen near the guide lines corresponding to the object.

Update: also noticed today that if nothing is in the way, the DIC lines don't show up either going forward (front assist) or backing up (rear assist). I was backing out of garage today. 8" screen and nothing behind. As I got closer to a fence, the yellow marker came on near the lines on the 8" screen, warning sound came on and DIC lines appeared. Lots of warnings...
