wipers out of whack

So I gotta drive down to Phoenix in 2 days, about 1,000 miles from Boulder and my wipers are doing some wierd things.  The driver side one is coming almost all the way to paint (centimeters away) and I was thinking it was because the wiper motor was out of what because of the heavy amounts of snow it has to wipe off my windshield??? I couldn't think of any other reason.  Let me know...I gotta get it fixed soon and will most likely be fixing it myself!

The bolt for the wiper arm probably loosened a bit. Take the little black cap off, lossen the bolt, adjust wiper and tighten.  This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I am assuming that u have a 99-02 style truck.

Definately the bolt, tighten it up.
