2010 Headlights vs 2015 headlights (CHEVY)

The headlights(projectors) in my 2014 Silverado are nowhere near as bright as the lights in my 2008 were. As mentioned above, I frequently have to use my high beams on roads that I had never had to before. The projectors also do not shine well to the sides, making turns in rural areas difficult.

Put me down as thinking the 14 headlights are weaker than a handful of years back. That said, I don't plan any $300 upgrade, they are good enough. If and when they ever burn out I wouldn't mind a brighter bulb, if that is an option.

 

I realize there is more to it than just a brighter bulb, just saying.

I think my 2014 headlights are just as bright as my 2007....I don't see a difference at all. Both trucks have standard stock reflective headlights.
