Need help with no spark

Hi, I recently threw a rod in my 97 c2500 with a 5.7. I r and r'd with a junkyard pullout that did crank and start but immediately died. I have replaced with second junkyard pullout and now have a no spark issue. I have replaced all of the ignition components and continue to receive a no spark no start condition. I have tripled checked distributor installation and timing. What am I missing? Thanks in advance for your input.

Figured it out, had a short in the harness. Hope that helps anyone experiencing the same issue. Thanks for looking!
