4.8 to 5.3 swap, anyone done this?

Sounds like what I may do.

I may put the 3.73s in it for more grunt as that's an easier swap.

With a 2wd a gear swap may be easier, but an engine swap is most definetely easier than a gear swap at both ends. I have done R&P swap probably at least 6 times, I would rather swap an engine. A whole axle housing might not be so bad depending how bad the brakes are to bleed.

I have a 2007.5 4.8l I put a 5.3l out of a 2004 all wires are original for 4.8 I did extend the cam sensor to plug on the back as the 5.3 sensor is on the back of the engine all is in it now it will not start any ideas?
