Someone threw glass at the BMW

A guy who has repeatedly tried to cause a wreck(he is from my school) with me is really getting on my nerves. Tday he crossed the line, he was in the "go straight" lane, I was in the turn lane next to him. As I was turning I hear something that sounded like galss hit and break on the side of the BMW. I quickly got into a parking lot to check the car over, I can't find any damage, gonna check again at dusk to be sure. He is too much of a coward to deal with the problem to my face, I really honestly don't even know what the problem is.

My immeadiate plan:

He drives like he's drunk every time I've seen him(probably is), and I know which road he's the worst on. I think I'll get his plates and report him to the police as a every day problem on the road. I can give them the time, plates, and full description of the car.

Other idea, mainly if he does something else to the car:

1.)use a toothpick to inconspicuously place JB Weld inside the door lock cylinder(know where he lives)

probably stick with the cop one, I have plenty of people who will report him for me when they find out what he did, I'll give them the plates.

Unless he starts something, I can only wait for justice I guess.

Slash his tires  :chevy:    :flag:

Nah, if your going to go that route...TAKE his tires, and sell them.

Might as well make a couple of bucks.

It's not as loud to just jack it up, and take them, as it is to put holes in them.

Do what my buddy did to a a$$hole that keyed his car.Get some industrial strength paint stripper and pour it all over his pos vehicle. It actually looked pretty cool the next day.Best thing was the dink didnt have insurance.

Or do what my cousin did.His gf cheated on him and he found who she did it with and where he lived. His revenge, welded the a$$holes car doors shut.Did it behind the guys house where his car sat.He never got caught.

Why? It wasn't the dude's fault. He probably didn't even know she had a guy. It was her fault, take it out on her.

Yes, go the smart route and give his info to the local pd to keep an eye out for him.

Most definetly, don't do something illegal, just let the cops pick him up....

Y'know, with your luck at driving lately I think you should just take the bus :chevy:

Definately stay legal!  Great advice above! :werd:

A third idea, that I don't THINK is illegal (no property damage) is something some friend and I did in college.

This prick bouncer at a local club groped my friends girlfriend.  When we left, we let the air out of the front 2 tires on his lifted Toyota truck (39.5" tires).  We used a tool, and took the center out of the valve stems.  Man that looked funny as crap.  I would have loved to see his face when he saw it!

Well, I could make some "anti-BMW" comments, but I'll refrain.  :smash:

I have a way to get back that won't land you in jail and it won't render you being called a "p*ssy" for calling the cops on him and getting him in trouble with them as well as mommy and daddy.

Obtain large amounts of vaseline and saran wrap.  Apply Vaseline liberally to as many exterior body parts as possible then LIBERALLY apply the saran wrap, then put some more vaseline on top of the saran wrap.

Now sit back and watch the fun begin.

I did this to some jag off in high school who would try to physically damage my 66 Pontiac which he did until I found out who it was and took this corrective action.

Needless to say, he never bothered me again!

Escort Wagon

It's not cause it's a BMW, road rage happened plenty w/this little boy when I had the truck. A guy at the roadfly BMW forums instructed me on haw to get an APB(or ABP) called on him. All I need is three friends with cell phones

Otherwise, appearently, one call might not issue a police response.

    • Breaking News!    I'm going to tell you that I'm going to tell you.  Then I'm going to tell you what I'm going to tell you.  Then I'm going to tell you.  Then I'm going to tell you what I told  you.  Then I'm going to tell you what I'm about to tell you on the other side of the break.  Then we're going to break. Then I'm not going to tell you what I told you I was going to tell you.  But I'll tell you something else that is Breaking News just coming to the desk that everyone reported on yesterday.  Then I'll tease a human interest telling I'll get to on the other side of a larger break. Then I'll tell you one item in 20 seconds and go back to an even longer break. Longest break of the night.  Then I'll tell you a fluff piece that takes 10 seconds and sign off into a three minute break while you wait for the next 30 minutes of rinse and repeat on the local news.    In al you'll get about 12 minutes of something, 5 minutes of which is worth hearing in a 30 minute show and 18 minutes of advertising at a sound level twice as loud as the news.    Of course you can switch to cable news and hear 12 different people tell the same four stories in much the same format as the Network News for 20 hours of which the majority will be advertising.  And four hours of late night Specials about things you wonder why you stayed up to listen to. Half of which will be repeats.....   OR you can go for a drive
    • Did you ever figure this out? My 2022 Trail Boss, and now my 2026 LT did this from time to time.  I believe it was more connected to Android Auto and my phone being the cause. Maybe try going for a drive, sans cell phone.... and see if it happens?
    • I have a 2026 Silverado LT, the non bose as well.  Upgrading the door speakers is pretty straightforward. You could honestly go to walmart, or Auto Zone/ O Reilly and get a set of 6x9s for the front, and 6.5s for the rear. You do also have to get some adapters for each, but they are like $10 a pair on Amazon. Then some plug and play harnesses that are about $10 a pair on Amazon as well.  And I would also suggest a 10 pack of the Amazon Basics sound deadening. Slap that all around the speakers and on the open metal of the inside of the door. And your golden.   I am currently doing this with my Silverado. Although I am having a bit of trouble because I am snooby I guess and bought some Alpine S2 S69c's which are 2 way components and I am having to wire from the door up to the dash....  Having never installed speakers before, its taking me just a bit to get everything correct. But if you dont buy expensive component speakers, and just some $40-$50 door speakers. You will DRASTICALLY improve the sound over these stock paper cone junk speakers. I thought my Silverado had an issue with the radio/ sound for a while.  Come to find out.  The stock speakers are just THAT SH*TTY   I cannot wait to have some decent sound in the truck   What did you end up doing?
    • Its all automatic based on yaw sensor data.  If enough incline is detected, it engages.   My recommendation though would be to disengage it before driving off and not let it auto disengage by touching the gas pedal.  The HD trucks use the same setup as prior years, the drum in hat park brake.  But now with an electric actuator.  If you drive off repeatedly over time, it can torque the park brake shoes and can also prematurely wear them out.           Electric console shift will set the park brake on flat ground too.  Pretty sure they've got it programmed to activate every time.
