Hey Guys,

First time here and your site looks good. A lot of help on here. Glad to be here.

My 2002 1500HD's steering shaft sounds like it is bumping inside the column. I have been told you can pack it with grease but can't find out how. I have a few more issues that I will ask about later but now this is my complaint. I didn't see where I could do a search. Probably overlooked it. Any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Steering Shaft Lube Kit available from dealer at reasonable cost includes detailed instructions.

It is reusable.

Also may I suggest thread title be more succinct. Rather than "newbee", perhaps "Steering Shaft Bump" or similar to help in subsequent forum searches.
