Left Turn Blinker Issue

Howdy,

 

My 07 Silverado has starting having an issue with its left turn blinker. When used, it will start at its normal blink rate and then after about 2 cycles it will start blinking rapidly at about 2-3 times its normal rate. The right turn blinker operates as normal.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions on cause and fix?

Did you check all the left turn bulbs? The blinkers are designed to blink rapidly if a bulb is burnt out.

Yep I didn't know that it was designed to do that until I realized I had a burned out bulb. I replaced it and all is back to normal.
