Vibration at idle only

Hey All,

I have a 2014 LTZ Z71 & is has a vibration at idle. Nothing noticeable whIle driving, just when the truck is in drive with the foot on the brake. I've had it back to the dealer & they said that since no lights were on, everything checks out. Piss poor answer to say the least. Myself, my salesman, everyone that gets in it, etc can feel it but the service dept could not. I took a video of the tach fluctuating 100-200 rpm's. To me, that's not normal. The truck has 6900 miles on it now. Anyone else having this problem & if so, have you had any luck getting it corrected? My OCD is going crazy & I'm about ready to go drop it off & tell them to keep it until it's fixed.

I too have the same issue. It seems to be only when its cold though, once it gets to 210 degrees it mostly goes away. I need to check with my dealer, but have been racking up a laundry list of things that I have noticed so I can go in and get it all taken care of in one shot.

Glad to see this pop back up. There is a long thread called idle surge that everyone seems to have forgotten.

 

I told my service manager as well and said there's no misfire.

Ive noticed my truck has this vibration albeit very light. I also noticed mine seems to coincide with the a/c compressor clutch engaging. I'll bring it up to my dealer at my first oil change.
