Stepside Z Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 I found out my internet connection was not as slow as I thought. It is still not fast by any chance. New computer is pretty sweet. I still have some files to transfer and more programs to load but all is well for now.

Stepside Z Posted March 30, 2003 Author Posted March 30, 2003 Windows XP is so much different from 98. It is going to take some time to learn it all.

That's the truth! I just re-formatted my Dell's HDD and installed Windows XP upgrade from Windows ME yesterday...wow! Can't believe how much faster it boots up, runs and shuts down! I'm still installing software and learning how to use the new Windows. That was a fast order John. Hope you like the new computer. Mine's been good so far. :thumb:
Shaners Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 Your new computer should be a good one, and XP seems to run really good on mine!!! Enjoy :thumb:
antig24 Posted March 31, 2003 Posted March 31, 2003 cool, windows xp works a lot better than any other windows version has for me :thumb:

Yep, have to agree XP seems pretty bullet-proof - especially the SP1 version. Once you get used to it, it's pretty good!!
