volume up button sticking on steering wheel

Just wondering if anyone else had this happen? I just noticed it today. Nothing was spilled either.

I've Had my truck since July and love it.I've been lurking on here since then. This is my first issue . I took the switch out took it apart couldn't really find anything put it back together and it works fine so I'm good. Thanks for the welcome!!

Funny you post this, Friday I was working on a 14 silv doing the recalls on it, and I reached through the window to turn the key on and must've hit the volume up button on the wheel and it stuck and volume was full blast. Hit it again and it released, first I ever experienced it too.

Had the issue with mine. Especially when cold. Bring it to the dealer they replaced it under warranty

I don't know what could have caused it to stick. But its still working good.

My skip track button seems like it's on its way out. It doesn't click the way the others do. I'm guessing it's because it's brand new. I'll keep you guys updated

I’m having the same issue on a 2014 Sierra Denali. How did you take apart the volume button?

Had dealer replace button on back of steering wheel under warranty, not sure if I made a thread about it...was sticking in
