Honeycomb Grille question

Hi guys i have the all chrome grille on my 2014 silverado lt w allstar package. Im looking to color match the front end and found a site that sells the complete grille surround with honeycomb in all black.

 

 

 

 

My question is would I be able to take the chrome inserts off my grille i have now and put them on the black grille surround I am planning on buying.are they even removable? thanks in advance fellas

Yep should snap out. Just be careful as the snaps can break easily

You can get them with black or chrome mesh and the color surround. they are all over eBay.

ok thanks for the help and ill be careful with the snaps. I did see them on ebay also but cheapest i could find when i looked was 270. shopchevyparts.com has them brand new for 245. 330 for the body color surround with chrome mesh. not going to pull the trigger just yet so may stumble upon a better deal on ebay.and thanks for the help again!

Wish I could find one in Deep Ocen Blue, but seems they are not made.
