High Country Emblem Plastidip

Recommended Posts

Hey just wondering if anyone has successfully plastidipped their high country emblems? I tried it out and the inside portion of the emblem is proving hard for the plastidip to stick to.

Thanks,

Jason

did you clean off the emblem first? if it has been waxed or had any grease or oil on it then that could be why its not sticking

Yeah I cleaned it with spray nine pretty thoroughly o thought. The rest of the emblem is fine it's just the middle portion that is indented a little from the outside edges....the insides of the mountains therec151d9f255d0013c7aa934eae42cecd6.jpg

hmm, pretty weird, never seen anyone else with an issue, maybe someone else who has dipped their high country emblems can chime in and say whether they had an issue or not. I'd try cleaning it again, maybe with some degreaser dish soap and give it another shot

Yeah I'll give that a shot...I would think it would stick easier to that part of the emblem because it's rougher and not smooth like the outside edges
