I need some advice

I have a 1999 Tahoe LT With the push button 4X4. Here are my questions.

OK. First off I am a moron. I was jut making sure that I would be able to change the plugs with out a problem last night. Well they are a cinch like I thought. So I put it back in and will get the New plugs today. Well the moron I am I forgot to put the plug wire back on. And the SES light came on. Will it go off by itself?

Next. I will be changing the Front and rear Diff fluid and the T-Case fluid. I will have no problem with the Diffs. But what about the Transfer Case? It sounds simple enough but are there any tricks and or tips? Also it looks like it is leaking a little bit right now. Is there any where that they usually start to leak or could it just be from the drain plug? And I think I am just paranoid but when I hit the gas I get a vibration feeling in the pedal. I think it could just be my head because I saw the slight leak. Or it could just be the motor vibration that I never noticed until I saw the leak. It definatly does not slip and it has plenty of power. I am hoping that it is only the fluid that needs to be changed to get rid of the drive line clunk. Could the clunk happen from low fluid?

Oh and one mre thing. My fuel pump sounds very whiny (sp?) Is it normal or is it a sign?

1. I would say if the light doesn't go off I would unhook the battery cable for a little while and see if that helps.

3. It sound as if the fuel pump might be going bad, but I don't know. But I don't know how loud your whine is.

Thanks for the info I was talking to a guy here at work and he had to replace his and it was no louder than the new one that he put in. You really cant hear it when the truck is running. Unless you are listening for it. But you hear it when you turn the truck off. Thanks again. Anybody know about the T-Case?

Well my fuel pump got louder and was replaced under warranty, so I'd go that route if you can. In regards to the transfer case, 1 of the solutions for the driveline clunk on the pickups was to replace the t-case fluid with the new blue juice that GM has. When doing so, they recommend draining the old, refilling with blue, driving a mile or so, then draining and refilling again. I did it, and had my splines lubed, as well as the nickel yoke and she's quiet for good now.
