Radio problem ?

Has anybody had there radio go on and off. seems like a short or maybe overheating or could a loose speaker wire cause it any help  would be appreciated.

I never had any trouble with the radio in my 99 or my 01.

Some of the radios seem to have a "glitch" in them.  I remember that some people would have their clocks reset (like a loss of power), but the presets wouldn't be lost.  GM was replacing these radios with refurbed ones...

I have not had that problem. Are you losing your presets?

problem with mine is the sound will go off ,the radio is still on then after a minute or so the sound will come back.
