I agree about paying for multiple cars but I've had Siriusxm in North Dakota, Florida, and Texas as well as all the states between for traveling and never once had a reception issue.

I live in seattle and while it is good there is def dead spots. Meaning it just goes out and then comes back on. Lots of trees in washington

I'll give them a call tomorrow. My main goal is to have Xm while I travel around Michigan's upper peninsula this summer.

I called them and said I received an offer for 20$ for 4 months if you don't need/want the 6 months. It actually is an offer they have, my old roommate got that offer in the mail.

Just get a new credit card after you sign up. Lose (cut up) your old one that sirius has the info on. How many people have you credit card info? It's not a big deal at all asking for a new credit card from who-ever issued it. They are a pain in the ass to deal with and an even bigger pain trying to cancel once they have your credit card info.

 

I have to disagree with this. I've never had any issues dealing with them and canceling is as easy as calling them up and saying that you want to cancel. They typically ask why and then they offer you a cheaper rate. Just decline and they will cancel it. That's much easier than going through the process of getting a new credit card and cancelling your other one.

I got Siriusxm cheapest plan (limited channels) for $5.00 plus taxes etc. per month. This is all I need because I like the stock updates every 15 minutes.
