1999 Silverado 5.7 vs 2010 Ford police car.

Me And my buddy wanted to see which was quicker the Silverado only has 90,000 original miles and the car has 108k. Both run good but the Ford annihilated the truck from a dead stop and a roll. It wasn't much of a race he was pissed because he has little bolt ons and said a 4.6 shouldn't outrun a 5.7. but as I told him it's all about power to weight.

So was this 1999 Silverado the classic 1500 edition then, or was it a 2500 with the 5.7L? 1999 is when the GMT800s were launched in the 1/2 tons and those got the 5.3L. Even so.. the classic 1500 with the 255HP Vortec 5.7L 4X4 would do a 0-60 time of right about 8 seconds. And that is the same for the Clown Vic Police Interceptor up until it's demise in 2013.

The truck is about 9 seconds and car and driver got a 2008 p71 to sixty in 7.8

And I'm not concerned with times line up and see the difference lol
