ATV Winch

Got my Warn 2.5ci ATV winch Wednesday. Pretty heavy at around 28 lbs. Just need to get the mounting plate from my dealer. Can't find an aftermarket one (possibly cheaper) for the Ozark any where online.

Check out all the pollen on my trailer deck.

Nice looking winch. I have one on my Polaris and it was the best invest I made. One time my wife and I were wheeling by ourselfs and I drove through what I thought was a dry creek bed and the atv sunk 2 1/2 feet in a very sticky black muck. I was stuck and in the middle of nowhere. Lucky I just installed my winch a week earlier so I winch right out. My winch has saved my butt numerious times.

Good deal Tom. I've had a Warn A2000 winch and roller fairlead on my atv for almost 2yrs and I can't count the times it's came in handy. They pack alot of torque into those little things.

Install is easy-just a little time consuming. Routing all the wiring is the worst part if I remember correctly.

I got the same winch, but with the roller fairlead.

Yep, it is. I may pick up a roller fairlead sometime down the road.

It's been doing great. I need to adjust the switch for the taillight because it sticks on from time to time. Still need to get my winch installed when I get the time, and mounting plate.

I liked the yellow when looking at pictures, and thought I wanted that color but wasn't really sure. They didn't have any yellow ones on display when I first went and looked, but they had some yellow Vinson's. After seeing that color, I made my decision.
