Private offer help

Need some help, I have read through everyone's advice on how to try and get a private cash offer pop up with no luck. I tried chrome incognito window, Mozilla, and ie clearing cookies after any pop ups.

Does it matter what vehicle you are searching for when trying to get a pop up or can you click on any vehicle then once the pop up comes up change the vehicle to what I want to buy?

My ordered truck is due this coming week or the next. Also I have been clicking on 2500 Denali and wondering if they usually don't give them out for denalis. Anyways if anyone has any additional advice I can do or if someone by chance gets one that could pass my way that would be even better. Thanks

I got a private offer for $1500 off a Sierra slt or Denali a week ago. I was surprised, never saw one for a Sierra before. I was searching the inventory in my area for Denalis when it came up. I picked up my truck 5 weeks ago, so I didn't use it. I was curious what Denalis sold in my area since I picked my truck up.

What browser were you using? Also how long was it good for, did it last till end of month or give you 30 days to use? Thanks

I got it using safari on my iPad. It is good until 5/31/2015. Looks like I got the offer on the 4th of May, so it was two weeks ago.

Were you able to get a Private Offer to come up? Better question is were you able to use it with an ordered vehicle? Fine print says "vehicle in stock" so wasn't sure if ordered vehicles counted...

Yes got the $1500 pop up and they took it no problems with my ordered truck.

I got mine by building the truck then went into the screen where you would locate the vehicle. Did that several times in google chrome clearing cookies and history.

Also if you have a farm bureau insurance near you just sign up, cost if I remember $60 then wait 30 days and you get another $500.

I bought my truck at Laura gmc and they took both rebates totaling $2000 on top of the deal they made me. I got the rebates 1 week before I picked up the truck and the deal was made well before that. Good luck

I got mine off of the chevy site while I was building my truck. This offer can't be combined with the USAA $750 DISCOUNT.

    • You're better read than that Atlas. 😏   British science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke formulated three adages that are known as Clarke's three laws, of which the third law – that "any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" – is the best known and most widely cited.   Stribeck and the pivotable Hersey Number isn't voodoo nor snake oil. That part is physics. It's what marketing and bean counters do with it that is snake oil and voodoo.    Stribeck is the relationship between Hersey and the Coefficient of Friction. Within the Hersey Equation if viscosity and viscosity is 'Dependent' on.......heat.......and.......viscosity index or the temperature to viscosity slope.    Specifically Hersey is the viscosity AT THE TEMPERATURE IN THAT LOCATION FOR THAT SLOPE.   Hydrodynamic lubrication exist when the film thickness in the location is 3X the Ra roughness of the surface. This is irrespective of the hardness of the substrate. To obtain that thickness X viscosity is required for Y velocity at Z load. That's a lot of moving parts. It is also impossible to maintain in an ICE but nearly possible with a turbine under constant load.    What does that mean? Error heavy and operate light. Wear is inevitable but the rate of wear and the milage obtainable are a function of prevailing conditions and HABITS. The only penalty is viscous drag and at fractions so low as to be well worth the effort. Double the life, half the manufacturing carbon foot print. Greed is the only impediment.    The materials generated by SwRI are the RESULT not an estimation or a hypothesis.    Don't delude yourself sir, EV's have as many pitfalls as ICE's. We just don't know what they are yet and it will take longer to sort as MARKETING and GREEDY CEO's have had more time to polish the turd they are selling.
    • You can always count on greed to prey on ignorance and stupidity.    Friend bought a 2019 Ford Flex and asked me about using Valvoline R&P 5W30 in it. Told him give the miles on it and the fact it wasn't yet using oil that it was a good plan. He uses a Valvoline quick change shop for his oil service.   First they tell him that isn't the oil the OEM recommends. He told them he didn't care what the OEM thought. Then they floated the, "But it will void your warranty"    His reply was it's a 2019, there is no warranty and informed them their knowledge of the law was lacking.    Then they tell him 'But it will ruin your motor"!.    Mine to ruin he says. Finally they give in and charge him 150% the semi-syn price    Point it the brainwash is so embedded that even the service industry is drunk on their swill. The public is right behind them. Echoing the same lies on every forum and media platform. If the end goal is indeed EV then I'd say that ship is about built.
    • Diesel hit $6.00 here today at the truck stop.   Payed $2.79 for E85 today too.
    • Thanks for posting, I'm sure it will help someone
    • New to diesel trucks. I happened to find my oil cooler leaking oil externally with only 4,000 miles on the truck. I didn’t realize this was an issue until I started researching it. Dealer is going to replace it under warranty but I’m wondering if there’s anything GM is working on to fix this issue. I’ve heard the oil filter used is the same as they use on their V6 motors and that’s what is causing the problems. Should I switch to a bigger filter or keep using the OEM recommended?
