1999 Silverado 2500 HD Cluster

New to this site but longtime member to corvetteforum.com and ncrs.org forums. Just purchased an exceptionally well maintained 1999 Silverado 2500 HD and only problem I found dealt with instrument cluster. Gear selector window would not display so I found cold solder joint and repaired it--great display now. ABS light and brake light stay on so hoping cleaning connectors and looking for another cold solder problem in the EBCM will fix this--will do this in next couple of weeks to see if it fixes problem.

Having opened the cluster and seeing boards, motors, and bulbs, I am not sure all the stepper motors are all correct since some gauges appear inaccurate. Fuel gauge is most suspect and just never gets above 1/8 tank (don't think it is the fuel tank sending unit). So, what are the correct motor numbers for the cluster and where can you buy besides EBAY?

Following is what I found in my cluster if they are correct?

S13-Speedo, Tach and Trans Temp

V32-Fuel

P17-Oil Temp

C1f-Volts and Water temp

Can someone help me out on this?

All I got is this.

1999 that truck would be a 2500 not a 2500hd, as those didn't debut until 2001.

A potential GM cluster part number assembly could be 9363065. As far as parts internal to it, you'd have to check with someone that refurbs clusters.

Scan the truck for the ABS and brake codes. EBCM's fail on those body style trucks mainly from corrosion. They swell and crack too.

Thanks for response and suggestions. Tried a couple of people that refurb and got (semi) cold shoulder. Guess they figure that they cannot charge $150.00 for something that probably costs $15.00 if they give out info free. However, hoping that someone with any 1999 era chevy truck such as the 1500 w/six gauges might know stepper numbers for those six gauges or have a cluster board wiring schematic.

Oh, thanks for letting me know no HD for 99 too. Don't know where I got that unless maybe I assumed code Z85 "chassis package, high payload firm ride" equated to HD? Anyway, hope someone might currently be in their cluster even if only six gauges and can look at stepper numbers. I have a source that carries all the different steppers but they do not correlate numbers to gauge type. They just send what you ask for.
