HVAC issues

New here. Wish I could have joined under better circumstances but...

I have a 2015 double cab Silverado. Just got it in Feb.

When I start up the truck, nothing lights up for the HVAC. Its the dual automatic climate control where it has the digital read out of the temp. It has both the driver and passenger side controls.

The blower motor is working and cant be turned off or turned up or down. Just continously runs. I checked the fuse for the HVAC and its fine. I can pull the blower fuse and it stopped working.

Ive had it in the shop but at HVAC started working again so they couldnt fix it since they couldnt duplicate it. Its happen about 4 times now. Always happens when I am working or the weekend and comes back before I can get it into the dealership.

Any ideas. Ive had bad luck with this truck. Feels like its been in the shop more than I have had it.

Does it work a minute or so after starting it up? I've noticed I have to wait just a bit after starting my truck before any of the ac controls will do anything or react to me trying to turn it on or off.

Doesn't matter if it's working before you can get to the dealer, call your service manager and ask him to go out on the lot and check a few of the trucks. If what you describe is not normal, have him schedule a visit to fix it.

It didn't work at all yesterday.

I went out to go to work this morning at 0430 and it works fine.

The only thing in common when it happens is it was on very hot days where my truck was sitting in the sun for a long time.

Hi, because it's getting hot, I just recently noticed a few AC attributes also. So I've left my system in just the floor position mode. I've gotten into it, turned on AC, set to recirculate, fan to max, temp to cold. Fan goes to max, but it has taken what seems Minutes to get cold. Once I even cycled thru the panel buttons again just be sure the system is awake... No complaints yet, but certainly a different response vs. any other vehicle I own or have owned... Hmmmm..... Technology and electronics...
