I would put some up with the British Flag if we had it for those soldiers on the list.  We owe them as much respect as we owe our own.

Speaking of which.....

She apparently said she wanted to be a Kindergarten teacher when she gets out of the military.  Most of the colleges around here have already been contacting her family offering a free ride.

I think that's cool, but I wondered what the point was since the military will pay for her schooling.  I was told two different stories by people here at our college.  One said he thinks that they're offering to pay anything the military doesn't pay, and the other told me that they're offering to save the military from having to pay anything at all.  I don't know which is true for our college or the others, but I do know they've been making offers.

I caught a clip on CNN shortly after the news broke of her rescue, and it showed the WV Governor telling her parents that, "on behalf of the State of WV" she would "have a full scholarship".  So that really isn't explicit - my best guess is that she will get whatever she needs above and beyond the normal military amount.

BTW, this is some gutsy soldier, if what the media is saying about her ordeal is accurate!!

I just hope we get the rest of our men and women POWs out safely ASAP.    :D

From my understanding talking to some of the faculty and staff here, it is verying from school to school what is being offered.  But everything is covered one way or another in every offer.
