GMT-900 aux trans cooler upgrade - mounting options?

I am going to be upgrading my stock aux trans cooler soon but wanted to get some ideas on how everybody is mounting theirs in the GMT-900's. All of the write-ups have been for the GMT-800's and earlier and because the way the front grill support and hood latch is different, I'm having trouble finding a suitable mounting location. I want to try and mount it in the same location as the factory cooler and don't really want it right up against the A/C condenser and want to avoid cutting/notching any bracing.

Because of the bracing for the grill and hood latch I've narrowed it down to the following coolers. Hayden 678, Derale 13502 or 13503 or the B&M 70268. Basically anything in the 8"-9" x 11" x 3/4" range. And because we can get in the single digits/low teens here in TN I don't want to take the chance and have the trans temps too cool which is why I'm probably not going with something like the Hayden 679 (plus it is roughly 11x11 so size plays a factor). We can get in the 100's here too (been 97* with index of 105+ the last 3 days), so any upgrade over the stock aux cooler is a plus.

Does anybody know what the BTU for the stock aux trans cooler is? I've found one place that says it's in the 9500 range.

This is on an '08 Silverado but would like to see any mounted in a GMT-900 Sierra as well.

Oh come on, go big like I did. And for your original question on mounting, self tapping screws, aluminum flatbar and angle aluminum go a long way for mounting and custom mounting stuff.

I would like to go big but with the temps getting into the single digits/low teens during the winter, I don't want to take a chance on running too cool.

I know I'll have to use some angle aluminum, etc but wanted to get some ideas first before I start. I might be able to notch the support arm for the grill and fit it in there but I'll have to measure again, or make a cardboard template.

Ever thought of making a cover for cooler weather?
