relocating factory back up camera for slide in camper anyone?

I have a 2015 silverado with factory back up cam. I am looking at putting a snug top outback shell on it. This shell requires removal of tailgate to accommodate barn door style rear access. I have to think some guys here have moved factory camera to accommodate a slide in camper or similar, wondering what it would require to utilize the factory back up camera in a different location. ANyone?

I have a separate system, allows multiple cameras tied to one monitor. I added a camera to my trailer, can toggle between the camera above license plate to monitor hitch and the one on the back of the trailer.
