Smog pump noise, possibly?

2015 GMC Sierra 4wd crew cab. 560miles on it and a sound is coming from smog pump/passenger side of truck. Should this be happening. Just bought the truck a week ago. Thanks for anything on this.

I used to have a smog pump in our '86 Grand Marquis. It was quiet as a mouse, even at 200k miles plus, so I'm gonna say on a brand new truck, you shouldn't be hearing ANYTHING.

All you should have for belt driven accessories would be the AC compressor, alternator and water pump. The AC compressor will engage and release with a thunk-type noise but otherwise it should be quiet.
