2003 key fog reprogramming

I recent purchased a 2003 Yukon and neither of the remotes work (batteries changed). I tried to do the reprogramming and can get the door locks to lock and unlock, but the fobs don't program. What gives?

The GMC Parts Department has the capability to program them within seconds. I had a Tahoe programmed at Chevy Parts, took seconds and they did it for free (they didn't use the procedure in the manual). Give GMC a call and see if they can do it for you.
