What is all the fuss about?

They need it to do their job. The tool needed for the application.

 

The German Autobahnpolizei (Highway Patrol) has Porsche within the fleet. They drive Mercedes and BMW's with high powered engines.

No German ever complained about it. Because they need it. End of discussion.

 

And a real waste of tax money would be to get a guy in the government to track down the cheapest bull bars, rims, tires or light bars.

 

My personal opinion is that I don't give a damn if the government pays a few bucks for some comfort/luxury in a cruiser.

The shit a LEO has to deal with all day long...give them a break!
