New here with some TPMS questions

Hello,

 

First off I do not own a GM truck. I am doing some work for my uncle on his truck. He has recently purchased new wheels and tires and they do not have TPM sensors in them so his dash is lit up. He wants to turn the lights off. Any tips? Tricks? How about HP tuners? I am very familiar with tuning as I do run a performance shop.

If he still has the factory rims then just take them out of those rims. If he doesn't then he can buy a set of sensors and then have them set to your truck.

So, the only way to get the lights off is to have sensors installed in the new wheels?

TPMS is federal mandatory for new vehicles under 10,000 gvwr.
