Hello guys/ girls just looking for some help. I'm looking at installing a 30in curved light bar behind my grill. Rated at 180w. Just wondering if I cut into my fog light wiring will the system i.e switch. Handle the load? I do plan on switching to led bulbs in my fogs and will do so sooner if need be. I would like to avoid using a wireless remote for it and I don't really want to drill a hole into my 60k trucks interior quite yet to add a switch.

Just add a relay for the load and splice into the factory fog light wire for the signal wire. Easy peasy.

They way they said is the best way, you tap into the switch and you will cause issues with the BCM/CANBUS system.
