Iphone/bluetooth questions

When I get in the truck, my Bluetooth hooks up great and can use my phone great, however when I go to stream music, my browse feature isn't highlighted so that I can choose it, to go into my music library, it will let me do it once in a while, but I ususally have to plug the usb up to make it play, Also, this is a early 2015 GMC 2500, is there a way to receive txt messaging on this truck? My wifes Camaro does this with her mylink, and my truck does so many other things through intelilink, but I haven't figured the txt out.

You may need to go to the dealer for a Reflash of your radio software. It had something similar happen to me and the dealer downloaded software and now it works great.

The text issue, if you have a text icon on the home screen you have the ability. If not I'm not sure what to tell you.

After pairing "I'll use IPhone cause that's what I use" go into the Bluetooth screen on phone and open the GM. You have a selection in there " show notifications " turn that on and it will work when you receive a text. To send texts however no such function other than premade texts but you can plug the phone in and use the " Hey Siri " function. That's how I use mine and it works perfectly.

My Intelilink connection to my iPhone keeps disconnecting and connecting while driving. Tried deleting the device from the truck and re-pairing it. Did the same to the GMC device on the phone. Still happening. Had the truck a little over a year. Same phone. Never an issue until lately. Any ideas?

In that case I would also take to dealer and have them re-download software. Every once and a while all computers will get a glitch.

I think it is something with the newest update on the iPhone. Mine worked great for the first 8 months of owning the truck. Did an update to the phone one day and now it does the same thing. If I am talking on it or playing music. I have checked everything on the phone and it is all working correctly.
