New member but long time Chevy and GMC owner

Hello,

Just came across this forum and was browsing through it and lots of great postings. Had to sign up. Look forward to reading and posting on here.

After owning a couple of Yukons, Tahoe, couple of SS Camaros, Vette, and most recently a Z71 Silverado, I decided to go for my newest GM vehicle. The 2012 Silverado beat me to death and had zero turning radius and compared to my full sized GM SUVs, the Silverado was a tank to drive and basically I swore off never owning a truck again.

I was about to purchase another Tahoe. Not the newest body style which was to me a box. I liked the Tahoe before it recently changed but they are indeed over priced. I was leaving the dealership pondering if I wanted to pay that type of money on another Tahoe and I new I did not want a truck let alone another Silverado, something caught the corner of my eye as I was pulling out. I backed up got out and walked over to it and realized it was the new Colorado. Visually I loved it but all I knew about a Colorado was that it was small from what I remembered of it. This truck had been revamped! It wasn't small like I remember it being and it looked really good. I went back in and said I would like to test drive that new Colorado out there. The test drive sold me. It was more than mid sized and exactly what I was looking for in terms of looks, comfort and price!! I went through 4 dealerships before finding only one that wanted my business and with that, I am back in a truck again which I swore off and enjoying this ride pretty much more than any of my past GM vehicles. I have done a few small modifications to it as I enjoy customizing my vehicles making them my own and unique. I am sure there is an area to post details about that elsewhere.
