DCJ

Recommended Posts

Have has this for a little over a month now and am absolutley liking every minute of it. The Red Hot Z71 looks totally different than the day I drove it off the lot with just some very slight or subtle modifications done.

Rough Country 2 Inch Level

Changed to larger BF Goodrich KO2s

Tinted Windows

1.25 Inch Bora Spacers for bolder or more broad stance

Some additional Badging

Still need to get a spray in bed liner but not much else I am going to do. Enjoying this one a lot!post-147268-0-73048200-1439688493_thumb.jpgpost-147268-0-17710400-1439688558_thumb.jpgpost-147268-0-66091400-1439688618_thumb.jpg

Your truck looks GREAT!

The stance is perfect and the tires make it look aggressive. That's how it should come from GM!

I like the red color, it pops, and the black goes with it and sets it off really well. If you could replace the chrome factory side steps with the black ones it would look even better. If you are interested look around, there are people looking to trade for a different OEM set quite often.

Thanks to all for the kind compliments. I'm definitely open to advice and suggestions for my Z71! Always looking for knowledge and good suggestions from others as to what I can do or what may look good. For some reason this truck has me fired up. I never could get that same feeling with my Z71 12 Silverado. I don't know why. Maybe it's the versatility of this although it's considered mid sized, it's much larger than that but still capable of that make sense. Heading back to my tire contact first thing in the morning and having him swap me back to 275/70/17s which I had briefly but went back down to 265s a day ago. I was getting some slight rubbing but I'm missing the 275s now so back I'll go to swap back out and figure out a resolution to the slight rub later. Thanks again to all!!

I would stick with the tires that fit. Tires too large rubbing is not a good thing. You definitely don't want to chop, cut, and hack your new truck apart for a slightly taller tire, it's not worth it.

Do yourself a favor and stick with the 265's, that extra 1/2" or so is not worth damaging your truck over!

Finally back into the 275s and really glad I swapped back. Makes a difference visually. Threw in some interior mods as well.
