code P0335 NEED HELP

Engine code p0335 came up which is crank position sensor faulty circuit came up friday driving down the highway, truck downshifted hard into 3rd and service traction control/stabilitrak came on and tach quit working. Pulled over pulled my negative terminal and restarted the truck everything was good, shut itself off after about a minute of idling, tried restarting it took quite a few cranks then fired right up with the engine light and stabilitrak back on. Pulled back onto the highway and truck shifted hard into second no tach again. got it home did a couple more battery pulls some cleared it for 30 minutes and its to the point now where it wont clear at all. Truck starts fine tach working then shuts itself off even if your driving, has a hard restart then will drive all day but has really hard shifting and engine light and stabilitrak are on and tach doesnt work. Tried cleaning the maf last night doing the throttle body and battery terminals tonight, checked all the spark plug wires they seem tight. Anybody else got any ideas? trucks got an appointment wednesday. I run a k&n filter, throttle body spacer and blackbear tune.

Have you looked at the crank position sensor?

 

Is the wiring for it intact?

 

Is the connector damaged/corroded?

 

It is possible that the sensor has failed.
