Gas Pedal Shutters

2014 GMC AT -

 

I noticed when I spin the tires on a soft dirt road the gas pedal shutters...vibrates real bad. I never noticed this with any other truck I owned. I turn off traction control and it still happens.. Is this normal ?

Traction control/Stabilitrak. Its trying to limit wheel slip by cutting throttle or using the brakes, etc.

yes, but I turn it off...and it still does it.

You have to push and hold the TCS button for 10 seconds before the Stabilitrak will turn off. Even then it isn't really ever off.

I know the TC was turned off.... but not 100% the Stabilitrak was turned off ( but I do know you have to hold the button, etc) I'll make sure and try again this week and report back....
