The article I posted goes over a lot of what makes a tire good at a certain thing. It's good to look at the specific feature you want to narrow the field.

This is exactly true, and I will add, E rated tires have a wide Pressure range they can operate in which can help with traction at lower pressures while not affecting wear. usually 40-80 psi on a E rated tire.
