Well guys I for now im thinking I might get some new rubber and then a spacer for my oem wheels should u worry about running a spacer or it affecting my ride quality or anything?... It's just not practical right now with the Canadian dollar and my priorities to buy both rims and tires but if i can space the oem rims to about a +1-0 offset and some new rubber id be pretty happy so what can you guys recommend or tell me is a spacer a good idea? Or will it affect my ride or my truck in a bad way... And do you have to gramma drive it with these bolt on spacers... c7f0602e3db65726ba8c409ed80687f8.jpg any one else do this...

What are spacers?

Like bolt on wheel spacers? They bolt on your studs to bring out your wheels or do I just wait and keep saving

Bora spacers/adaptors from motorsport-tech is the way to go, get in contact with them (Lenny). You can't go with 1", as the studs are too long and will poke into the back of the wheel, so 0/+1 isn't possible unless you trim your studs, which I would not do. Minimum is 1.5" with stock wheels and 1.75" with aftermarket wheels. So, like me, you will be sitting at -12 with OEM wheels if you went with 1.5". I think it looks great, however there is some minimal rubbing in reverse at full lock, with a 2" level. Might go away with 2.5" level.

Yea I have a 2.5 level and I want to run a 285/65/18.. Even been tossing the idea of just biting the bullet and getting some wheels with a - 12 offset because they don't seem to make the ones in a 0 offset and then just hope for the best that they will fit and not rub much if any

I think with 285/65/18 you'll be fine and not rub with 1.5" spacers. The OD on 285/65/18 is 32.5, half inch smaller than 275/60/20.
