Oil catch can

I seen alot of people install oil catch cans in their 14+ trucks my question is does it help enough or should i worry about it if i dont install one? I had a 2005 silverado and never heard of this so im just wondering about it if anyone can help that would be great.

Hard to quantify exactly how much it helps, but I get at least 4oz of an oil/water (looks heavily oil) a month out of mine. The noticeable drop in power and mileage I've experienced from valve deposits hasn't returned, but it's only been about 10k miles so jury is out.

So is this something i should install? Is it easy to install? Where you attach the can too?

If you are handy at all, shouldn't take but about 15 mins. Of course, a lot of that depends on mounting choice. I'll get pics tomorrow. Basically you hang the can somewhere, and run two vacuum hoses over to the TB and intake area (just TB for 6.2's).
