Replacing brake lines on 2500HD

I just had a brake line bust on a 2003 chevy 2500hd 4x4 crew cab with 6.5 bed and after looking at the lines, I am going to replace all of them from the abs block to the master cylinder and front wheels. They look pretty rusty. Don't understand why they don't put better lines on there to begin with, like stainless steel. This truck only has 80k miles on it.

Now I am trying to find a kit with prebent lines for this and it seems places like Oreilly's and autozone do not sell kits, only lines that would need to be bent. I have found some stainless steel kits on amazon but the picture does not look like it has all that I would need. Is there a good place to buy kits, either in store or online? I would rather be able to buy in store in case I would have to return something. But am willing to buy online.

As far as replacing the lines, are there any tips that would make it easier.

GM sells them. GM kits are pre-bent, flared with new fittings, and nylon coated like all GM production vehicles use now (trucks started using the nylon coated lines in 2007). Most or all the pre-bent kits (including GM) don't have the solid lines on the rear axle, just all the main veins (ABS to RF, ABS to LF, ABS to rear, and both master to ABS lines). 22932565 is the GM kit part # for your truck.

As far as tips? Be patient and take your time. You will have to possibly tweak the lines (they are very close but do need some adjustment here and there to fit them). The trickiest in my opinion, the right front and the rear.

That is one of the kits I have looked at one places like ebay and rockauto. Just wasn't sure what it included.

Now I have found a stainless steel line kit,Fine Lines TKT0101SS, which I would assume includes the same lines but does cost a little more? Is stainless worth the extra price and any other reason to not buy stainless lines?

Looking on the sstubes.com (fine lines) site for that kit https://www.sstubes.com/tkt0101 it only comes with the front lines (two master, abs to RF and abs to LF). The rear line is sold separately for more $$. https://www.sstubes.com/tin0006 So, you end up paying more for lines that will last just as long that I can tell.

I can also say that 2007 and newer trucks, we have never had to put brake lines in them. And they are factory nylon coated. Unless something cuts the coating off the line, they don't rust.

Ok got the lines replaced and not really that much trouble, had someone help so that made it easier.

Now I have one small problem. On one of the lines that go into the master cylinder, it has a slow leak. It is not cross threaded and it is as tight as it can be. How could I stop that from leaking? Could I put some pipe dope on there? I would assume teflon tape would not be any good as I guess it would eat that up.
