Sylvania Ultra vs ZXE - which is brighter?

Ultra is the brightest, ZXE is the whitest. Told to me directly from Sylvania.

I went from ultra to ZXE and back to ultra. Zxe burns out fairly quick but has a crisp white look. The ultra is a little broghter but has that standard headlight color.

Love ultras. Use em on my bikes and just ordered a set for my truck a few days ago.

 

They burn out quicker than oem bulbs but are well worth it imo.

I have been using the ZXE bulbs, have the same set installed for 3 years now, I turn off my headlights during daytime driving to extend the life of the bulbs.

 

The ZXE are a whiter light @ 4200 K.

Thanks, think I will go with the Ultras. The average I get from the Silverstars I ran in the 04 is 1 1/2 years.

I do most of my driving at night and the zXe only lasted me about 6 months. I normally get over a year on Ultras and about 1.5 on regular Silverstars
