Yet another kill (rice style)

Had a little fun last night. Im at a christmas tree (traffic light) in the left lane of hwy 129 with a U-Haul trailer (5x10) full of stuff, and this little hyundai pulls up along side my truck and starts revving his little 4 banger. No annoying fart can exhaust for a change. So I figure, Ill give him a run for his money, though I did not think that I'd win seeing that I had a 1200 lb trailer loaded with appliances and furniture.

Light goes green, and we floor it. I start to pull away from him almost immediately, and by 2nd gear I was 3 car lengths or so ahead, and my advance continued through 3rd gear till i let off at 65 mph (the speed limit). The other driver continued to speed up and flies past me probably going somewhere around 80. Less than 1000 ft after he passes me, a State Patrol pulls out with the blue lights, and pulls him over.

I couldn't stop laughing for alomst an hour.

I can't imagine what he said to the passenger. I just got a beat by a truck pulling a trailer, and got a speeding ticket on top of that.

Forgot to mention. I was using my 1500, not my 3500 (I don't race my duramax

Why don't you race the duramax?

I mean if you get in front of them your sure to win from them being black smoked out!!!!

I can't imagine what he said to the passenger. I just got a beat by a truck pulling a trailer, and got a speeding ticket on top of that.

He probably was saying "I WON I WON MUAHAHAHA" when the cop hit the blue lights.

Why don't you race the duramax?

I mean if you get in front of them your sure to win from them being black smoked out!!!!

I know that the duramax is fast and will kick a$$, but i don't like to rev a diesel engine just for purpose of proving what I already know.

My 3500 is an excellent truck, and I intend to drive it well beyond the 500K mark. (Just like my uncle does with his 95 k3500 with the 6.5 turbo diesel.)

Oh, and by the way, In a word, the driver of the hyundai was :owned:

well as long as you got your rules and you stick by them that's all that matters. My parents 2 trucks that have 6.5's in them are working there way toward the 500k mark. Dad's has 300k and mom's has 40k
