Check the upper dash cover, others have had theirs making a noise around the light sensor and also by the windshield try press around those areas with someone else driving.

Sometimes noise can be caused by a free rolling extra screw or some other fastener that someone dropped while installing the dash at the factory and never removed.

Anyone else have a metal on metal rattle coming from the passenger side interior? It almost sounds like it's in the door, or under the passenger seat...

Sounds can be thrown around in these trucks and be very difficult to find. Make shure that your passenger side seat belt buckle isn't twisted and rubbing the door or seat. In my first '14 there was an issue with a metal bracket directly behind the trim panel under the steering wheel, this one nearly drove me nuts. And then there are a lot of guys that had an issue with the sun glasses holder. Good luck.

My 2014 crew cab had a rattle and the service tech removed the panel the hood release goes thru and tightened 4 bolts in steering column brace and it fixed My metallic rattle. I knew it was somewhere under or around the steering column.

I thought it was the tire jack, taped it all up tight, thought I fixed the noise, got 500' down the road... Nope. Ughhhh so frustrating. It makes me even more mad that my truck shakes on the highway, and shakes just enough for the rattle to go ****ing nonstop on my way to and from work every day.

Hey guys, finally got the vibration. Under the pillar trim next to the passenger seat is a metal seatbelt keeper held in place with a plastic clip. The metal seatbelt keeper was rattling against the pillar sheet metal. Put some electrical tape on the contact spots - rattle gone for good.
