Bugshields and vent visors

Anyone know of a bug shield for the '14's that also covers the top corner of the fenders?

And what is better the stick on or the vent visors the get mounted in-channel? Looking to put these on my truck soon and looking for opinions.

I have the AVS bug deflector and vent visor and I love em both. The bug shield doesn't necessarily cover the fender edges it sorta flare up over them allowing air to pass underneath where the fender and hood meet. My vent visor are the in channel style and I was indifferent about them at first until I started to notice more and more trucks with the visors and I really like the in channel over the traditional ones that attaches to the outside of it. Look much more cleaner and professional in my opinion. I would recommend the AVS, but I also don't have any other experience except these with my truck.

Was your bug shield the glue on or stick on? I looked at one and it installed with adhesive tape. Didn't want to go that route...

Yes, it had the adhesive tape that runs pretty much the length of it. It also had to metal clips that connect to the hood and they provide a non-scratch tape so the clips don't damage your hood. I was worried about the adhesive too but is been about 6 months since in installed with no issues. Also I found the design was easy to line up to make sure it was straight.

I also have the AVS in channel and like them a lot better than the older ones that stick on the outside. I think they look better. The AVS bug shield that I have is strictly adhesive and it fits flush to the hood.

Thanks for the response guys. My issue is if the bug shield ever breaks you have to deal with all that adhesive... I have the Weather Tech in channel rain guards and actually broke one of the shields for the rear doors because of the clips. I have read the clips will also will scratch the top of the glass on repeated opening and closing.

Still looking for a non adhesive bug shield.

JRL1164 your bug shield appears to go slightly over the fender a bit which is what I want, but aekdbhill's does not. What part # is yours?

Here ya go.

When the dealer installed mine in the channel the window on auto up would not close. They had to install them outside it

I have an LT and do not think this option is on my truck. I have had no issues with my windows other than trying to open them just a bit for air... damn auto down is a PITA.

I've never had an issue with that.

Same here.
