Joppy818 Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Hey yall: I did a full on retrofit with my 15 Sierra Denali. I went as far as replacing the led boards to amber flashback. So now I lost my daytime running lights. everything else works fine. But cant get my darn DRL to turn on? I checked the stock harness and I am getting no power at the White wire on the connector. Anybody have any thoughts on this.
newdude Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Looking at the DRL schematics, I don't see any white wires in it. There is a white wire in the high beam schematics, which runs the high beam actuator circuit (projector shutter).
Joppy818 Posted November 16, 2015 Author Posted November 16, 2015 O. Would it be to much to ask for the wiring diagram. The installer told me the stock harness was the white wire...I was able to get all light up as follows: yellow - headlight Blue and White - Turn Signal Two Purple - Parking light White - nothing Blue and Brown - nothing I can see why the white didn't light up but why not the blue and brown...is the DRL? Maybe I was not testing with the truck in gear
newdude Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I will dig them up tomorrow sorry I didn't see a reply right away...
Joppy818 Posted November 18, 2015 Author Posted November 18, 2015 Its all good I found the gm upfitter...its is the brown wire on the harness connector. its has an abbreviation it is brown and blue I believe. Thanks brother!!
