danose Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 I have a 1999 Chevy Silverado, new body style. It as a 6 inch suspension lift. The rear end had been replaced by the previous owner. I broke the spider gears. I replaced them and all seemed good until i was following my son after buying another play toy and saw that both rear wheels had a wobble. Dont know what to start looking for other than two bent axles. I beleive it is a 3/4 ton rear end. 3.73 gears. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
00Silverado4x4 Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 When was the last time the tires were balanced?
danose Posted December 7, 2015 Author Posted December 7, 2015 Tires were last balanced when i bought the new tires about 2 years ago. Didn't have the issue before i replaced the spider gears.
danose Posted December 11, 2015 Author Posted December 11, 2015 Found out the issue. Has the spacers on the wrong side of the disc brake rotor. Stupid me. Damn!
00Silverado4x4 Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Glad you figured it out. We've all made mistakes.
