Hey guys I have a 2015 Sierra sle and just bought Sierra spec kit from the retrofit source I had one question does anyone have any issues with day time running lights and h.I.ds

 

Thanks in advance I know its prabaly been asked before but can't find a solid answer

I know its a small sample but I've been running the same kit on mine for 3 months now and no issues. Did have to swap the pins on the capacitor in order for the DRL's to function properly though.

Angel 27 can you explain a bit about the pin issue you had with the capacitor

I had to remove the wires from the connector and switch them around like the picture below. Run everything the way you're supposed to and check how everything works first . I've read some didn't need to make the switch. It worked just as it came.

Cool thanks alot for the info..as for the day time lights no issues their? Basically will my h.I.ds be on all the time . reason I ask wasn't sure if the lights got half voltage for day time lights and full for night

No problem.

No issues with the drl's. They seem to be on at full power all the time as long as the truck is in gear.
