Brake Pedal pulses

2005 1500, at less than 10 mph the brake pulses and acts like truck is not going to stop. Any ideas on what could cause that? To temporary fix it pulled abs fuse.

Look up ABS operation, pulsing lets you know it's working. My first experience with ABS in the mid 80's pulsed in the brake pedal all the time. I got used to it and understood that I couldn't or didn't need to get on the brakes hard. I think your temporary fix disabled ABS.

This is usually caused by a bad hub. But you have to determine which side is causing the problem. And after you determine which side is causing the problem you have to check and make sure it is not a wiring problem first before you change the hub.

I had a similar problem with my 2005 1500. It ended up being warped drums in the rear. I replaced the drums and shoes an the problem went away

Easiest check to see if it's ABS engaging is to pull the mega fuse for the ABS system. You will have the light on but if it's a bad front wheel bearing causing the ABS to engage it will go away while the fuse is out. If so, like others stated, you need to eliminate possible wiring issues and determine which hub is causing the problem. Most just replace both because the other side is likely to fail soon anyways. Good luck with your search.
