AFM Delete 5.3 and 6.2

Just bought the wife a 2011 yukon xl denali with the 6.2 engine and I am wanting to disable the afm on it. I can feel it when it goes from 8cyl to 4cyl mode and I don't like it. I would also like to clean up the shifting of the transmission on it. I have a 2014 sierra crew cab with the 5.3 and I wouldn't mind doing the same to my truck. Is there a product out there that I could buy that would work on both vehicles? I have been reading a bunch of old threads about tuning and haven't come up with a good answer yet. Any help is appreciated.

Range Technologies has a device that plugs into the OBD port under dash. I am using one on my 2015 Denali. Word of caution, buy new. Like anything electronic they are always updating and buying used my get an older model with older technology. They list for $199 (incl. S&H) each from the source.

PS - Leaves no trail so no one (dealer) will ever know it was used, remove anytime and reinstall.

I've heard about the Range and read about the possibility of it draining the battery when the car is parked for a couple days. Does this device do anything to clean up the transmission shifting?

That will do what you want. AFM disable as well as engine/transmission tuning capabilities.

You will need to buy an extra license to tune 2 separate cars with 1 tuner.
